The Daar award 2019 was held at International Conference Center Abuja on the 19th of January 2019. Below is a full list of the winners of the various categories of the Awards.

Chief Raymond Dokpesi Jr., Chairman, DAAR Communications Plc while speaking on the selection process said,
“DAAR Awards is an event to commemorate those individuals in society who have made it their life’s work to be exemplary. It celebrates the individuals who ought to be celebrated by the work they have done, the positive influence they have imparted, their drive to be symbols of excellence as Nigerians and the lives they have touched in the process.”
The 2019 edition of the Daar Awards is the 3rd Edition since its inception.

Award for Media Icon of the Year – Dele Momodu
Award for Young Achiever of the Year – Osas Ighinadion
Breakout Presenter of the Year – Enemaku and Ohimai Godwin Amaize
Winner for Minister of the Year – Babatunde Raji Fashola and Ibe Kachikwu
RayPower Personality of the Year – Nkiru Arinze
Television Drama of the Year – Jenifa’s Diary
Sound of the Year – Burna Boy
Outstanding Leadership in Public Governance – NDDC
Newscaster of the Year – Binta Burkar
AIT Presenter of the Year – Amaechi Anakwe
Social Media Commentator of the Year – Ebube The Statesman
