Ezekwesili Promises LGBTQ’s In Nigeria Equal Opportunity If Elected President
Oby Ezekwesili the Presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) spoke during a conference at the Royal Institute of International Affairs known as Chatham House about her running an inclusive government when elected as the President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria.
She was openly accused by a Nigerian gay known as Bisi Alimi that she is homophobic.
but in quick response, Oby Ezekwesili said: “I absolutely believe in the fact that everyone deserves equal opportunity.”

The inclusion of LGBTQ in Nigeria has been a long-standing controversial issue that former President Goodluck Jonathan signed into law the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act (SSMPA) into law.
The prohibits any form of Same-Sex relationship in Nigeria and will earn one 14 years in prison.
