EFCC Arrests Doyin Okupe and releases him within 48 hours
Recently, the former spokesperson to ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on public affairs, Mr. Doyin Okupe, was arrested and detained by the (EFCC), he was later released by the anti-graft agency within nothing less than 48hours, he was arrested by the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on Monday the 10th of November 2018 and was further released on Wednesday the12th of November 2018.
It was further observed that Mr. Okupe is noted to be one amongst the public supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and is as well a full supporter of the 2019 Presidential candidate contesting for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the name Atiku Abubakar.
However, after his sudden release on Wednesday, he made it known in his tweeter handle, that he was further released by that anti-graft agency on Wednesday the 12th of November as speculated by law.

According to him, as seen on his tweeter handle ” the EFCC released me on bail tonight, within 48hours after my arrest as speculated by law, I was treated with utmost courtesy, And I feel so proud and grateful.
Nevertheless, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP’s) spokesperson, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, is the individual who announced the arrest of Mr. Okupe during the late hours of Monday the 10th of November.
However, in an earlier report, Mr. Okupe had claimed that nominating the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, the present President Muhammadu Buhari as the emerging winner of the 2019 Presidential election, is not valid.
