Davido, Forgives AY Over ‘Dick’ Joke
The Afrobeat Artiste David Adeleke has accepted comedian AY’s public apology over a ‘badly delivered’ joke dig at him. Comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, was under serious criticism and attack after a video of him shading Davido during the show in Warri surfaced online. During the show, AY asked the DJ never to use Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ song to introduce him next time, questioning the possibility of someone not being available to impregnate women and this was thrilled with backlash on the comedian over the joke.
However, AY took to his official Instagram page on Sunday to apologize to the Afrobeats artiste Davido. AY wrote on his page: “I am very sorry for the way that joke came out in Warri. You have every right to be angry after seeing how it was used by blogs. Please understand that we are all constantly learning in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash coming my way for the poorly delivered joke in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason for them. I remain your number one fan, and I love you, @davido.”
Davido took to AY’s comments section and assured him that there is no rift between them. He wrote: “Nothing spoil baba mi.
