Breaking: RCGG Directs All Members’ to Get PVC

 

The Redeemed Christian Church Of God has directed all members’ of the church to show their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in order to vote in the 2023 General Elections.

In a letter dated 17th June 2022, circulating online, The intercontinental youth pastor addressed the pastor in charge of provinces to sensitize the public on the need to get the Permanent Voters Card.

The Letter titled ‘Operation Show Your Permanent Voters Card (PVC) read:

Calvary greetings to you in Jesus Name

We refer to the above and wish to kindly inform you that we have received directive from the Mission Authority to ensure high level of sensitization in all our parishes for the need for all our members to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

Kindly carry out the sensitization according to the following schedules:

Sunday June 26th 2022: Operation show your PVC in all parishes.

Based on the above, Provincial Hqtrs and Mega parishes are encouraged to use their parish as center for one or two days to facilitate the member’s and interested neighbours registration considering the closeness of the deadline (June 30th 2022) of the Continuous Voters Registration exercise.

Provinces will be required to send summarized report of parishes’ compliance of the above directive to the office of the undersigned, stating number of adult members versus number of PVC counted.

The report is expected on or before Tuesday, 27th June, 2022 for onward compilation to the Mission Authority.
