A member of staff of LCC in Lagos test positive for covid19
According to a twitter user by name Adetutu Balogun, MBA on Thursday 18th June 2020, claimed that a member of staff of the Lekki Concession Company Limited (LCC) has tested positive to the coronavirus.
He asserts that the victim tested positive at the Lekki 1st tollgate when tested last Thursday 11th June 2020.
Mr. Adetutu laments that the Lekki Concession Company Limited is still open and carrying out its operations as usual and its staff is not aware of the index case.
Speaking further, he said on two-person who came in contact with the index case decided to self isolate without being told.
He added that the index case wife and kids are positive and some members of staff of LCC are feeling sick but LCC is still Open.
However, we will note that Lagos State has been noted as the epicenter of the spread of the coronavirus and the Lagos State Government has been putting measures in place to control the spread of the virus.
We will recall that on Wednesday, an Access Bank manager in Onne Port Harcourt was reported to have died of Covid19 infection and all the staff of that branch have been quarantined.
This case can be described as the Covid19 case in Lagos Today.
In recent times, they have been an increase on the number of covid19 cases in Nigeria. According to NCDC official reports, Lagos State has 7,616 confirmed cases as on Thursday
